Ladies Tournament Sponsored by Caring Lady

Caring Lady Funeral Director were invited to spend the day at Lancing Bowls club for the “Caring Lady’s Tournament” in August 2010. Amy from the Goring Office arrived at the bowls club at 9am to set up stall alongside the green with armfuls of brochures, leaflets and information packs of our pre-paid inflation proof funeral plans.

The funeral team implemented an idea to guess how many sweets were in a jam jar, and charged 50p a go, with all proceeds being donated back to the Bowls Club. There was lots of laughter and banter and it was nice to be able to answer questions and provide clarity on certain aspects related to what we do as well as the funeral industry as a whole.

At 6.20pm, Caring Lady Funeral Director presented the trophies to the runners up and the Winners.

Caring Lady also picked up a few tips of how to play bowls and socialised with various bowls teams from all over places like Littlehampton, Chichester and Bognor.

The day an eventful one, yet thoroughly enjoyable and the icing on the cake was to receive a big thank you from the members who were more than delighted that were involved.
